Caffe Vivaldi, Ida Metsberg

  • Caffe Vivaldi

A night of music and mingle with Ida Metsberg performing. Doors open at 6PM.

Ida Metsberg is a 26 year old singer-songwriter from Finland, living in NYC for the past four years. She moved to the city to study musical theatre, which is part of the reason why telling stories through her music is so important for her. Her songs have a certain Finnish melancholic undertone with compelling (and sometimes really sarcastic) lyrics. Her style has been described as traditional singer-songwriter pop/folk, and her music has been said to remind people of artists such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Sara Bareilles. To hear some of her original songs, you can go to www.soundcloud.com/ida-metsberg
